Narragansett Technologies unveils RSS-Pro
Ireland, October 4th 2006. Online marketing software provider, Narragansett Technologies, today announced RSS-Pro, their integrated email newsletter RSS service. The integration of RSS-Pro with the award winning email marketing software, SpinnakerPro, will enable marketers to distribute content via email, web, SMS, MMS, fax and now via RSS, increasing the number of methods at their disposal for reaching and engaging subscribers.
The RSS-Pro service allows marketers to easily create and publish content to all delivery channels including RSS - while empowering subscribers to choose their preferred method of communication. This flexibility will enable SpinnakerPro clients to retain subscribers who prefer consolidated RSS feeds over receiving multiple emails.
According to a recent MarketingSherpa survey, 40% of marketers are planning on adding RSS feeds to their marketing mix in 2006. 19%, who had already incorporated the technology, are planning on increasing their 2007 spend.
"While some people have stated that RSS would overtake email as the top communication model, we believe that the real power is found by using the two in combination" according to Rebecca Walsh, Marketing Manager. RSS-Pro will be available to SpinnakerPro Hosted clients as part of the standard offering by the end of this month and will be rolled out to SpinnakerPro licence clients in Q4 2006.
